Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. The talent agent who spotted her and recognized her abilities inspired her to join the world of entertainment. In the end, after much thought and consideration she decided to leave school to start a new career within the entertainment business. Her first appearance was in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, but she wasn't thrilled with how the film turned out. It took her quite a long period of time to refine her acting abilities and appeared in several low-budget productions order to demonstrate her abilities. The road to this actress wasn't an easy one however, his tenacity and determination were recognized. Her acting career took off when she was able to earn praise, fame and recognition for her role in Training Day.
