Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister, and also a UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko is an experienced Muay Thai kickboxer, began her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded a second medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008, and a gold in 2011, and was crowned the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in 2016. Antonia, who began her professional journey in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016 the World Lion Fight Lightweight Champion. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were also held in 2016 and she took home the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win with a majority. Antonina Shevchenko broke her first professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She won the fight by second round TKO and won her next two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass a record of three-three. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer after which she took a lengthy absence of MMA. She came back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina displayed her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera using knees. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina was given the UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first fight by unanimity. Antonina bounced right back after her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko was 1-2 over her next 3 fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
