Ashley was born 2 months earlier, weighing in at 2 pounds 8 ounces. She remained in ICU for one month. The news was made to her parents at the time of the Christmas Day that she was going to undergo an operation on her heart. When her parents came in at Christmas Day, they were informed by the doctors that she had a closed heart. Ashley never needed any surgeries. She weighed 4 1/2 pounds. Ashley was released from the hospital following two stays in hospital. Since then, she has never been sick! Her father is of English as well as German origin. Her mother's Irish family is where they come from. Ashley's acting debut came in a commercial in 2002 for Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley, then 8, was pursued by Ford Modeling Agency. On the stage, she is consistent and stays in the Agency. She was a performer from the time she was just 10 years old. Ashley was able to do over 35 commercials. Then she moved on into the stage. Ashley is currently a fervent fan of acting. Ashley put all her focus into acting, which left little time for modeling and dancing. Ashley is most well-known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was a cameo role in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love", which was performed by Solange and Romeo Miller. Ashley shot a picture together with Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. She's in NLT "That Girl", a music video.
